Fenton Carnival Glass Iridescent Marigold Orange Vintage Round Crimped / Fluted 7 in Bowl Dish – Foliage & Flowers on both sides

A rare luscious Fenton Carnival Marigold Orange Glass round Bowl with crimped or waved rim. Made from a gorgeous iridescent bold orange pressed glass, the vintage bold orange bowl really makes a statement. It would make a beautiful addition to a collection of Fenton pressed glass.

The bowl is unusual in that it has a pattern on both sides. On the top, it is an interesting mix of foliage, flowers, rope designs and fish scale effect. On the underside, the bold flowers are created with little raised rounded circles, almost like grapes. c 1930s.

This Fenton glassmaker has manipulated the final pressed glass bowl by introducing waves or crimps to create an interesting effect.

The Fenton crimped Carnival Glass bowl diameter is approx. 7 in and it is 2 in high. It is weighty at 10.2 oz.

It is in overall good vintage condition, with no major chips, cracks or obvious scratches. There is one small nick in k e of the “sawtooth” pieces - please see last photo.

As with all vintage glass of this type there are manufacturing irregularities such as the odd bubble and inclusions in the finish. There may be wear such as tiny scratches consistent with normal use as this is a pre loved item. Please view photos.
